WHAT WE DO

Existing conditions. A considered repair.

Remedial work starts with understanding the existing installation. We review survey findings and site conditions to establish what can be repaired, what needs replacement and what requires further investigation before the work can be priced.

01

Identified defects

Work arising from survey findings, defect schedules or NCR registers, with each agreed item linked to its location.

02

Repair & replacement

Repairs or replacement of damaged, incomplete or unsuitable firestopping, based on the existing construction and relevant system evidence.

03

Occupied buildings

Access and sequencing planned around residents, building users and other trades, with disruption and opening-up requirements agreed in advance.

HOW IT WORKS

From the first conversation
to a clear record.

Scope, access and deliverables agreed before work begins.

  1. 01

    Review the findings

Share the survey report, defect register and photographs. We review the locations, condition and information available.

  2. 02

    Confirm the scope

A site visit or further investigation may be needed. We agree repair details, access, exclusions and the extent of making good before quoting.

  3. 03

    Complete the repairs

We carry out the agreed remedial works and flag additional defects or changed conditions before extending the scope.

  4. 04

    Document & follow up

Before-and-after photographs and location references record the repairs. Any required follow-up inspection or NCR close-out is agreed separately.

THE RECORD MATTERS

Show what changed, and where.

A location-based record connects the original defect to the completed repair. Before-and-after photographs support review of the works and help the client or appointed inspector track outstanding items.

Completing remedial work does not automatically close an independent inspector’s NCR. Where further inspection or certification is required, its scope, evidence requirements and fees must be agreed with the relevant party.

What should I have ready?

A site address, the type of building and a short description of your concerns. Plans, previous reports and access information can be discussed when the scope is agreed.

Does a request confirm a booking?

No. Submitting an enquiry lets us review your requirements. Survey scope, access, fees and availability need to be agreed before a visit is booked.

Can I enquire about installation work?

Yes. Choose “Firestopping works” for new installations or “Remedial works” for repairs to existing firestopping. They are separate enquiry options so we can understand the scope from the start.
